My Story…
I would like to tell you a story which will make you open your eyes. Living in upstate New York, a family member, good friend and companion of mine was Piper, a 3 yr old male German Shepherd. I had Piper from the very beginning and he had become a part of my life and had grown very fond of him despite the problems that he had right from the beginning. He was a beautiful dog with fantastic looking white, tan and black patches over his body.

He was a good dog. Very friendly, lovable and playful, but he had a barking problem. For some reason, he would get excited and get into a barking phase that would last up to 30 minutes. My job was being changed and we moved to Philadelphia. Everything was great except for the fact that our house in Philly was a duplex and a little bit smaller than what we had back home. But lately he had been behaving himself…. Not for long though. Just 2 weeks into Philly, Piper started acting up one evening in the park. He calmed down and we came home. About an hour later, he started barking like crazy. I mean there was no stopping this dog. He went on and on and on. At first our neighbors rang our bell and asked us to stop this commotion. Later on they called the police over to our house. By that time Piper had become quiet but we were warned to take some kind of action.
I had no choice but to beg my brother Matt to keep Piper with him. Luckily he was willing to help me out.
Soon I brought home another puppy German Shepherd and named him Ray. This time I was going to be wise and get a head start on Ray's training.
